This window enables you to perform a variety of administration tasks.
General Tasks
These tasks change RM Auditor settings for all users.
Database Status: to view the current size and status of the database. For a description of the database status codes and any action that should be taken, click here.
Settings: to change a variety of system settings.
Permissions: to decide which tasks security groups of users can perform and which Standard Report Builders they can run.
Selection Groups: to create and edit selection groups of users, printers, programs or computers on which you can run Reports.
Program Names: to assign friendly names to program file names. Also to choose which programs are included in auditing.

If you have RM Auditor Additions - Web Monitor installed, Web Traffic Monitor Configuration is also available from the Administration window. Web Traffic Monitor Configuration allows you to define the settings that control the data being placed in the RM Auditor database by the RM Auditor Web monitor.
Select a database maintenance task and click the Run button to run it immediately. Click the Schedule button to create a schedule for the task. The tasks you can run are listed as follows:
Incremental backup: a quick backup that adds recent updates to the backed up database file.
Full backup: a full backup of the whole database, this replaces the existing backup file and deletes any incremental backups.
Restore Database: Restores the database using the last backup.
Tidy Database: Deletes some temporary database files to reduce the total size of the database.
Purge Database: Deletes all expired event data from the database.
Purge Reports: Deletes all expired Reports from the database.
Purge Notifications: Deletes all expired notifications from the database.
Synchronise Database: Ensures that any changes made in the RM Management Console are also updated in the RM Auditor database.
